Rachel Wyman ‘05, MBA, CMB

Chef Rachel Wyman ‘05 is an assistant professor of Baking and Pastry Arts at The Culinary Institute of America, where she teaches courses in advanced bread, retail bakery operations and flavor science. As founder and CEO of Montclair Bread Company, she grew the business to $1.6 million in annual revenue while leading a team of 40. A Certified Master Baker, she was named one of Bake magazine's Top 25 Most Influential Bakers in the U.S., won Grand Champion on Food Network's Donut Showdown, and was a Team USA finalist for the Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie. She launched Nourish Your Neighbors, a student competition run with regional food pantries. Wyman holds an MBA and is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at Johnson & Wales University. Her doctoral research explores how endurance sport participation shapes entrepreneurial orientation. A Boston Marathon finisher, she is the author of Will Run for Doughnuts. (Hyde Park, NY)
