The HKHL conference offers the following professional continuing education credits. Registrants will claim credit once they’ve completed the course evaluation which will be emailed to each participant following the conference. The email will include instructions for completing the evaluation, along with access to your CE transcript. Attendees should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the conference. To calculate your participation hours, you can use this chart that lists the number of credits available for each session.

Medicine/Physicians: RUSH University Medical Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 17.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.

Registered Nurses: RUSH University Medical Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 17.75 nursing contact hour(s).

Pharmacists: RUSH University Medical Center designates this knowledge-based activity for a maximum of 17.75 credits contact hour(s) for pharmacists.

Physician Assistants: MedStar Health has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AMA PRA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for a maximum of 17.75 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation. 

Registered Dietitians (RDs) and Dietetic Technicians, Registered (DTRs):  This live activity has been approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for 17.75 CPEUs.
