Guest Faculty Bio

Heather Peña, MD is the Medical Director of the St. Helena Center for Health. Dr. Peña graduated from Harvard Medical School following a distinguished undergraduate career at Tufts, where she was Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, receiving a BS in Biology. Among the programs she oversees are Transformations: The Napa Valley Weight and Lifestyle Management Program, ONE: The Napa Valley Personal Health Experience, and the Center for a Smoke-Free Life. Previously Dr. Peña served as Medical Director of the Pritikin Longevity Center. Dr. Peña is a frequent lecturer on such topics as cancer prevention, heart disease, nutrition and women’s health, and contributed a chapter on breast cancer prevention to the book Doctors Orders: What 101 Doctors Do to Stay Healthy. (St. Helena, CA).
