Continuing Education Certification

Eligible conference participants will be able to receive Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits issued by Harvard School of Public Health for successfully completing this program. Harvard School of Public Health is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. This program has been accredited for 21.75 hours of AMA Category 1 credit.

Chefs and other Culinary professionals will receive 1.6 Continuing Education Units (CEU's) issued by The Culinary Institute of America for successfully completing the program.

For Registered Dietitians, this program has been approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for 23 CPEUs. The Boston University School of Social Work has certified up to 19.5 hours CEUs for licensed social workers.

This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 21.50 credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. This includes 12 Prescribed and 19.75 Elective credit(s). Since some sessions run concurrently, no more than 21.50 credits may be reported.

The Board of Registered Nursing will accept CME/AMA category 1 credits for nurses, hour for hour. Nurses are supplied a receipt at the time of registration which should be submitted to CNA with their appropriate forms. Other state’s nursing associations may have a reciprocal arrangement with the American Medical Association for continuing education credit.
