Accomodations & Restaurants

The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, located about ¼ mile north of St. Helena on Highway 29 in the heart of California's Napa Valley, is approximately a two hour drive north of San Francisco. A list of Napa Valley hotels and inns indexed by town can be found here.

Two excellent resources for accommodations are napavalley.com and Napa Valley Reservations Unlimited. Lodging (hotels, inns and bed & breakfast options) in St. Helena, Rutherford, Yountville and Calistoga are the closest to the college. The town of Napa is about 25 minutes by car from the campus, and also has many housing options. Registrants are urged to make their housing reservations as soon as possible, as the Napa Valley is a popular weekend destination and lodging often sells out well in advance.

The San Francisco Chronicle's food review website lists reviews, ratings, menu descriptions, prices, and the address and phone numbers for Wine Country restaurants. Reservations for many restaurants can be made online at Open Table.
